There is clash occurs between the IPS Officer and Ajit Pawar. The opposition targeted Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. They claimed he tried to stop IPS officer Anjana Krishna from Solapur rural police from taking action in an illegal sand mining case.
Clash between Ajit Pawar and IPS officer during phone call
They led their allegation on a video clip of phone conversation between CM and her. The alleged video recorded in Kurdu village of Karmala tehsil in Solapur a few days ago. Krishna, who is the sub-divisional police officer of Karmala with Solapur rural police, had gone to address illegal murum (sand) mining.
Threat call to IPS officer
According to the opposition, an NCP member involved in the illegal mining called him from his phone and asked him to speak with Krishna. The video recorded by someone in an open field. In it, a voice believed to Ajit Pawar heard telling the IPS officer to stop the action.
Madha MP from NCP (SP) Dhairyasheel Mohite Patil, whose constituency includes Kurdu village, “After the video surfaced, I gathered more information. Local villagers complained about the sand mining. After which the IPS officer went to the spot with a district administration team. A local NCP member at the scene called Ajit Pawar and speak to him, after which the action stopped.”
