Home Minister Amit Shah visit Poonch on Friday to meet households stricken by the current Pakistani shelling. He allot appointment letters to the own family of civilians killed in the attacks.
Shah condemned Pakistan’s strikes, spoke out, “Pakistan centered the civilian regions in J&K, and Poonch suffered the most damage. For the first time, firing was carried out on Poonch post-independence. The complete world is condemning the attack by Pakistan. The Indian Armed Forces gave a reply by destroying 9 Pakistani air bases. They had to come forward for a ceasefire.”
Amit Shah Job assistance to civilians
Mr Shah also said that on the night time of May 7, 2025, Indian Armed Forces conducted a decisive operation. It destroy terrorist sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
He described the action as a “befitting respond” to terrorists on behalf of India’s residents, resulting in the removal of hundreds of terrorists. “On the night time of May 7, we destroyed the terrorist websites in Pakistan and PoK. This was a befitting reply given to terrorists on behalf of the crores of Indians. Hundreds of terrorists had been killed in operation. We start an attack on terrorists. However, Pakistan took into consideration it was an attack on itself. They confirmed to the world that they are the ones who’re sheltering terrorists,’ he said.
Home Minister Praised BSF
He said, “We have sent a message that India will not tolerate any attack on harmless civilians, Indian Armed Forces and every attack will spoke back to with more precision and accuracy.”
During his visit, Amit Shah also interacted with Border Security Force (BSF) personnel at their Unit Headquarters in Khanetar, praising their role in Op Sindoor. Mr Shah visited religious sites damaged in the shelling and reviewed the security scenario before Amarnath Yatra.
