The original post he reshared on X told an emotional story of a four-year-old girl named Aarohi, who went missing from Mumbai in May and finally reunited with her family after six long months.
According to the original post shared by X user Mohini Maheshwari, throughout the time she was missing, Mumbai Police refused to close the case. “Some officers carried her photograph in their shirt pockets like it was their own child,” Maheshwari wrote, highlighting their emotional commitment. They distributed posters across cities and kept pursuing every lead.
Police reunite missing girl with family
Aarohi brought back to Mumbai on Children’s Day, November 14. At the airport, the Mumbai Crime Branch welcomed her with balloons and a new blue frock. When she saw the officers waiting, the young girl ran—not away, but toward them—throwing her hands around the nearest police officer.
Anand Mahindra reacted to the post, writing: “Mumbai Police, you just gave us the gift of hope and happiness.
