In a recent developments of breaching a country’s guidelines, Bangladeshi pornstar was arrested from Maharashtra. Riya Barde also known as Arohi Barde, has been reportedly apprehended by the Hill Line Police in Ulhasnagar near Mumbai. Riya was caught for having a forged Indian passport, under which she had been living in India.
The police had been alerted with a tip-off over a Bangladeshi family living in Ambernath, Nevali A. According to a probe conducted into the allegation, fraudulent activities by the family members were found. Riyas along with three of her associates, were found to have forged documents and Amravati native is accused of having prepared them. Thereby, upon the research, Bangladeshi pornstar was arrested from Maharashtra.
The forged documents enabled Riya, along with her associates, to stay in India. Riya has been booked for the offence under Section 14(A) of the Foreigners Act, 1946. She has also been booked under the IPC. Four other people are part of the case. As a result, a search is on for four others.
Notably, the Hill Line police are probing the case. The racket involved generating bogus Indian passports. Riya’s parents are reportedly staying in Qatar. Her associates too are put under the scanner for their connection to the case. Furthermore , the police are widening the search as far as connecting people to the case are concerned.
Bangladeshi pornstar was arrested from Maharashtra: This isn’t the only case of fake passport
An incident was witnessed in Thane, Maharashtra earlier this year, which was more or less of the same description. Nagma Noor Maksood Ali had been arrested in the case. Nagma Noor operated also by the name of Sanam Khan. She had crossed over to Pakistan using a fake passport and visa. The lady’s passport identity was created by Noor, for which she had obtained numerous identity documents.
These included an Aadhaar card and PAN card, both of which were forged. As a consequence, he police filed a case against her too on these similar charges. Notably, in India, fake use of documents for international travel has raised several concerns. Also, Indian authorities are identifying more people involved in such frauds and are working on the issue.
Consequently, these cases draw special attention to document forgery and illegal stay in India. Investigations are currently going on to fully uncover the extent of the forgery operations as Bangladeshi pornstar was arrested from Maharashtra.
