Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has said that it signed a contract of Rs 1,640 crore (excluding taxes) with the Ministry of Defence. It deliver of Air Defence Fire Control Radars to the Indian Army.

The advanced radar systems, designed by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) constructed to deliver robust air defence capabilities under diverse operational situations. These advanced systems provide round-the-clock surveillance, monitoring, and control of air defence guns, and ensure powerful response to aerial threats.
Equipped with built-in Electronic Counter Measure (ECM) functions, the radars designed to operate seamlessly in adverse digital environments. Their modular architecture complements operational flexibility, taking into account ease of deployment, operation, and maintenance in dynamic field situations.
Fulfills shortages of Radar systems
