Recently, the pet dog bite women incident occur in Bengaluru in Teachers’ Colony of HSR Layout. CCTV captured the event. According to the police, the woman was out for a walk when a dog owned by a local resident named Amaresh Reddy suddenly lunged at her.

The dog first bit the woman on the neck and then continued to attack her face, hands, and legs. Residents rushed out of their homes to help her, but one person who tried to pull the dog away also attacked, as shown in the CCTV footage.
Badly injured, 50 stitches, still hospitalized
By the time the locals managed to control the dog and get the injured woman to the local Bengaluru hospital, she was bleeding heavily. Doctors reported that she had deep bite wounds, especially on her face and neck, and needed more than 50 stitches. She is still hospitalized and receiving treatment.
After this frightening incident, the woman’s husband went to the HSR Layout Police Station and filed a complaint against the dog’s owner for negligence. Police officials said they would take further action based on the investigation’s findings.
