Delhi Police acquired a PCR call reporting a incident in the Vasant Kunj area on Thursday (July 31) at around 1:24 pm in which a baby fell into an open sewer. According to neighborhood childrens at the spot, they witnessed the child falling into the sewer.
Rescue team arrive in delhi at sewer spot
Immediately following the record, a coordinated search and rescue effort started. A JCB system called to clear the sewer and remove particles to facilitate the rescue. The fire team and 4-member team from the Vasant Kunj Fire Station directly reached the spot to help.
Along with fire department, a team from the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), such as the team leader and 3 divers, started the rescue operation. Officials from the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), with four sanitation employees, also participated in the ongoing search and rescue efforts.
CCTV footage shows kids playing
Available CCTV pictures captures the child playing in the place before the incident in Delhi, but does not show the moment of the fall itself. Authorities retain to attention all resources on the rescue operation with the aim of finding the kid on the earliest.
