A Chennai-based company has made headlines as it distributes and gifts expensive cars and bikes to employees as part of Diwali celebrations. According to corporate watchers, it is an effort to ensure that the morale, productivity, and productivity of the same workers are boosted along with informing them of their strainful efforts.
The company, which makes structural steel design and detailing, has nearly 180 people working for it. The company, which draws people mainly from low-income group families modestly set up, conducted the celebration to gift nearly four-and-a-half crores worth of genuine employees. Ahead of the event, they distributed 28 cars and 29 bikes to their employees.

Founded in 2005, the company is led by Managing Director Sridhar Kannan. He said that the employees are its best assets and that their performance is reviewed and appraised. The cars enlist brands such as Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, and even Mercedes-Benz.
“We wanted to show our appreciation for their (employees) tireless efforts in driving the company’s success. We believe our employees are our greatest assets. Our employees have demonstrated exceptional commitment and dedication, and we are proud to recognise their achievements,”
It is not the first of its kind. Last year, it gifted cars to two of its top officials and has been gifting cycles to its performing employees for years. Most of the employees desire owning a car or a bike, and with the company’s scheme, that dream is achievable, Kannan claimed.
Along with this, the company has improved financial support for wedding ceremonies for all employees, which now stands at Rs 1 lakh in 2024, from just Rs 50,000. It is reflected in the commitment of the company towards the welfare and satisfaction of employees, which lies at the heart of the company’s success.
“We select the candidates who are highly motivated and a concept of buying a car or a bike is like a dream for them. We have been gifting bikes to the employees and in 2022 we gifted car to two of our senior colleagues.
The effort by this company has been termed to be outstanding in improving the working environment with positive motivation among employees. It stands out as few other companies do in rewarding dedication remarkably but rarely, with its belief that happiness of the employees is essential for further growth and satisfaction of the customers.
