The Central government announced on January 1 that it is increasing the price of 19-kg commercial LPG Cylinders by Rs 111, effective immediately. This change is likely to raise operating costs for hotels, restaurants, and small businesses.
LPG Cylinders price rise by Rs 111
In Delhi, the price of a 19-kg LPG cylinder will go up from Rs 1,580.5 to Rs 1,691.5. In Kolkata, prices will increase from Rs 1,684 to Rs 1,795. In Mumbai, the cost will rise from Rs 1,531 to Rs 1,642.50.
However, domestic consumers will see no change in the price of 14-kg LPG cylinders. The price for domestic cooking gas remains between Rs 850 and Rs 960 across the country.
