A Dashcam video recorded inside an ambulance on Himachal Pradesh’s narrow mountain roads has gained attention, highlighting the dangers of indifference and rule-breaking during medical emergencies.
Dashcam record drivers block ambulance way on HP Highway
The dashcam footage, widely shared on X, shows the ambulance stopping repeatedly as private vehicles approach from the wrong side on a very narrow stretch of the hill. With hardly enough space for a single vehicle to pass, cars from various states push through, seeming unconcerned that they are blocking an emergency vehicle that might be carrying a critical patient. The sharp turns, limited visibility, and steep drops typical of hill roads make these actions even riskier.
Break traffic rules
The Dashcam video gained traction after an X user posted it, tagging Delhi Police, HP Police, and Uttar Pradesh Police. The user also listed the registration numbers of the vehicles allegedly breaking traffic rules and called for authorities to take strong action. In the post, the citizen encouraged others to share the video widely, arguing that visible consequences are needed to deter such behavior in the future.
As the video circulated, it sparked a larger discussion about civic duty and road discipline, especially in terms of yielding to emergency services.
