When officials arrived at the scene, they found no signs of any explosion. A guard confirmed that the sound actually came from the rear tire of a DTC bus heading to Dhaula Kuan, which had burst. Authorities reassured the public that everything was normal and there was no cause for concern. They advised residents to stay calm and report any suspicious activity.

The Delhi Fire Department reported that three fire engines were quickly sent to the scene after the call at 9:18 AM. Police checks confirmed that no suspicious objects were present.
