A fire broke out in a multi-story residential building in Red Hills, Hyderabad, on Monday. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported. Firefighters successfully evacuated 23 residents.

Fire broke out in Red Hills residential building in Hyderabad

The incident happened at Sameena Manzil, across from Tin Shed Masjid in Nampally. The building has a ground floor, three upper floors, and a penthouse. Preliminary investigations showed that the fire started in the drawing room on the third floor due to an electrical short circuit.

Officials rescue 23

Amberpet Fire Station personnel responded right away after receiving the emergency call. They used water tenders to bring the flames under control before the fire could spread to other parts of the building.

At the time of the fire, several families were in the building. Firefighters coordinated the evacuation and moved all occupants to safety on the ground floor.
