A 65-year-old man from Ghaziabad consumed poison at ‘Janata Darbar’ at the residence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The man was rushed to a hospital, where he is receiving medical treatment.
Satveer Gurjar attempt suicide during Janata Darbar
According to a press statement from Lucknow Police, the incident occurs around 8:50 am. The individual, identified as Satveer Gurjar, arrived at ‘Janata Darbar’ who consumed poison. Officials and security personnel at the venue quickly took him to a civil hospital in an ambulance. Doctors report that his condition is stable now. Police are at the hospital and are taking necessary actions, the statement said.
Recent Attack on Rekha Gupta
Along with the suicide attempt incident at ‘Janata Darbar’, the another incident occurs with Delhi CM. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was attacked by a man from Gujarat during her ‘Jan Sunwai’ event on Wednesday. Rajesh’s mother mentioned that he is mentally unstable. He was upset by the Supreme Court’s decision to remove stray dogs from Delhi. Police have taken Rajesh into custody for five days for investigation.
After the attack, Chief Minister Gupta met with BJP leaders at her home. Rajesh’s mother also noted that he has a short temper and affected by the court orders. Before arriving in Delhi, he visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. She explained that her son acted out of love for dogs and asked the CM to forgive him, saying their family is poor.
