After tragic Haridwar stampede occurs near Mansa Devi Temple on Sunday, the Mansa Devi Temple Trust government has announce an ex gratia of ₹2 lakh to families of deceased. The trust also announce the ₹50,000 to each injured. At least 6 people killed and several others injured in the incident that occurred during a heavy rush of devotees.

The Uttarakhand authorities have also announced the same ex gratia reimbursement. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that a magisterial inquiry has been ordered.
“The injured are being handled. Some have been cited AIIMS Rishikesh. Our priority is they get effective treatment and get better quickly. A toll-free number has issued. Magisterial inquiry has been ordered and ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh every for the families of the deceased and ₹50,000 for the injured, also announced,” Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said.
CM Dhami Offers support to affected families
The Chief Minister visited the Haridwar District Hospital to inquire about the condition of the injured and directed doctors to ensure quality hospital treatment. He confident that every vital arrangements are made instantly and promised all possible help to the affected families. Wishing a fast recovery to the injured, Dhami said that the state government stands with everybody affected by Haridwar stampede.
Meanwhile, AIIMS Rishikesh Director Dr Meenu Singh said that four people are in critical condition after the stampede at Haridwar’s Mansa Devi Temple on Sunday morning. She said that out of the 10 victims currently admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh, there were children.
