Heated Train Seat Dispute in Indian Railways
The complainant, Premlata Verma, was traveling with her daughter from Yamunanagar. During the trip, an argument broke out between them and two other people over seating arrangements.
What started as a dispute over seats escalated into a heated confrontation. Passengers nearby witnessed the exchange, and one recorded it on a mobile phone. The clip later appeared on social media, where it caught the attention of many users.
Women argue loudly with passenger
The viral video showed the woman and her daughter in a loud argument with the other passengers inside the train compartment. The tense exchange happened in front of other travelers, some of whom watched while others tried to go about their journey.
After the incident, the train arrived at Saharanpur Railway Station. Verma approached the authorities to file a official complaint.
She submitted a written complaint at the Government Railway Police (GRP) station in Saharanpur, detailing what happened during the journey.
