Intelligence Bureau Officer, Manish Ranjan Shot in front of family in Pahalgam Terrorist Attack

Manish Ranjan, a officer with the Intelligence Bureau, post in Hyderabad, was one of the 26 people killed in the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam on Tuesday. Originally from Bihar, Manish Ranjan had been serving with the IB in Hyderabad during terrorist attack. “He go on LTC (to Jammu and Kashmir) along with his wife and  childrens…” media agency said.

Manish Ranjan, alongside his family, became among the many tourists who were available at a famous meadow in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam on Tuesday when the terrorists opened a fire at them.

Following the attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reduce his two-day trip to Saudi Arabia and returned to India on Wednesday morning. He took updates about the scenario on the floor, the first side upon landing.

Home Minister Amit Shah also left for Jammu and Kashmir to monitor the situation on the ground on Tuesday and was briefed by Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police Nalin Prabhat upon his arrival, per PTI. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, and Director of Intelligence Bureau Tapan Deka were present at the time of the briefing.

Indian Force killed 2 terrorists

After worst attack on Tuesday and Manish Ranjan die in attack, the Indian forces killed terrorists in open fire in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla. The Indian Army stated the war broke out on Wednesday with about 2-3 terrorists attempting to infiltrate by the general place of Sarjeevan at Baramulla’s Uri Nala.

Chinar Corps of the Indian Army stated in a post on X, “Heavy fire among security forces and terrorists, two terrorists have been eliminated, infiltration bid foiled by the safety forces in the ongoing Operation in Baramulla.”
