JD Vance visit Jaipur’s Amber Fort with family, Receive grand welcome with ‘Ghoomar’ dance

US Vice President JD Vance who’s on a 4-day visit official visit to India, arrived at Jaipur’s Amber Fort on Tuesday morning together with his own family. The US Vice President and his own family acquired a grand welcome with a traditional dance performance and a grand tribute from elephants.

JD Vance landed in Jaipur past due Monday night after attending a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. On the first day of his visit to India, he arrived in the national capital.

Vance, his wife Usha Chilukuri, and their three children — Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel — departed the highly-priced Rambagh Palace Hotel and reached the UNESCO World Heritage site at around 9.30 am. They acquired a red carpet welcome.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari welcomed them at the castle. As they entered the main courtyard — Jaleb Chowk —  adorned women elephants named Chanda and Mala greeted them by raising their trunks and official stated.

As Vice President Vance walked the red carpet, maintaining the arms of his sons, Ewan and Vivek, his wife carried their daughter, Mirabel. According to officers, the family appeared deeply captivated by grandeur of the courtyard and the hanging structure surrounding them.

All about Amber fort

Amber fort become more famous after JD Vance visit. The Amber Fort is located in the Aravalli mountain range, almost 11 km from the center of Jaipur. It is an intensive palace complicated built with light yellow, red sandstone and white marble. The fortress is split into four essential sections, each with its own courtyards.

Amber is the capital of the Kachhwaha Rajputs before they shifted their capital to Jaipur. Man Singh I started the development of the new palace complicated on the end of the 16th century. After Raja Man Singh I, Mirza Raja Jai Singh I and Sawai Jai Singh II made a few adjustments, such as to the interiors of the citadel.
