Ministry of Education seeks the explanation from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Vice-Chancellor Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit after she not attend the conference. As per officials, she do not attend the serious matters without get approvals from ministry.
“Her absence was taken seriously. In such situations, Vice-Chancellors required to take prior approval. There was a conference at JNU coinciding with the Vice-Chancellors’ convention. But it must keep in mind that the invite for this conference extended a earlier,” a source said.

While the Ministry’s conference scheduled for July 10–11 in Kevadia, Gujarat, JNU. They its 3-day conference on Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) from July 10 to 12, which former Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar inaugurated.
