Renowned actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda accidentally shot himself with his licensed revolver this morning. The incident occurred close to 4:45 AM as Govinda inspected the weapon at home. It is now making waves on the internet rising people’s interest if it was an accident or suicide attempt۔

Reports indicate that Govinda accidentally shot himself in the knee after a misfire while he was handling the gun. He was immediately rushed to Mumbai’s CritiCare Hospital where he is admitted at 5:15 AM for emergency treatment.

“Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda was getting ready to leave for Kolkata. He was keeping his licensed revolver in the case when it fell from his hand and a bullet got fired which hit his leg. The doctor has removed the bullet and his condition is fine. He is in the hospital right now.”

No official word has come from his family, but initial reports at the hospital indicate that he is out of danger.
