The city saw a successful organ transport through a green corridor by the police from Hyderabad Airport to KIMS Hospital in Secunderabad on Monday, April 6. A donor lung arrived from Bengaluru on a flight and quickly moved to an ambulance waiting at the airport.

Officials create green corridor to transport long to KIMS Hospital

The 38.7 km trip to the hospital on Minister Road made possible after police cleared traffic along the route to ensure the ambulance arrived without delay. A green corridor set up to ensure that a donor organ reaches the recipient hospital quickly. Traffic cleared on this route so the ambulance carrying the organ does not face any delays.
