On Saturday, during Bihar CM Nitish Kumar visit to Begusarai, a stray bull briefly caused a security scare. Preparations were underway for his helicopter to land in Begusarai as part of his ongoing ‘Samriddhi Yatra’ (Prosperity Journey).
Bull enters in CM Nitish Kumar visit area, police officers run
Officials said that the helipad area was fully secured with bamboo barricades, and entry was limited to authorized personnel. Despite these measures, a stray bull suddenly entered the restricted zone, causing chaos and panic.
When police tried to chase the bull away, it began chasing them, forcing the officers to flee for their safety. Several police officers ran from the scene to avoid an attack while the animal continued to roam around the helipad area for a while.
Raise great security concerns
Fortunately, at the time of the incident, CM Nitish Kumar helicopter had not yet landed. However, several NDA leaders, along with senior police and administrative officials, were present. This unexpected intrusion raised concerns about the security arrangements, especially since the zone had been sealed well before his arrival. The officials and leaders at the scene were visibly shocked that a stray animal could breach the highly secured area set up for his visit.
The situation returned to normal only after the bull exited the premises and security personnel regained control. He is currently in the third phase of his ‘Samriddhi Yatra’ across Bihar. His schedule includes events in the Begusarai and Sheikhpura districts, where he will inaugurate various projects and lay foundation stones.
