A fierce fight broke out among lassi shopkeepers near to Radha Rani Temple in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura. The visuals of Kulhad War remind us about the internet 2021 Baghpat chaat stall brawl.
In what’s now dubbed the “ Kulhad War,” shopkeepers threw bricks and beat each other with sticks in the sunlight hours over a customer dispute. The conflict occurs on the main road to the Barsana Ladli Ji Temple.
Kulhad War near Mathura Temple
Two groups of shopkeepers sellings lassi started out preventing over customers. The argument was violent, with both sides visible in a now-viral video attacking each other with kulhads (earthen cups), sticks, or even bricks.
The video shows a massive crowd accumulating at the spot because the situation going out of control. Several people, including a woman injured. No police personnel had been present during incident, that led panic amongst devotees and locals.
Fight case handle to SP Rural Suresh Chand Rawat
SP Rural Suresh Chand Rawat said, “The fight was between lassi sellers over customer opposition. A women also suffers injuries. We’ve receive a criticism, and strict action taken against the ones responsible for Kulhad War.”
The brawl drew immediate comparisons to the viral Baghpat chaat stall combat, that featured dramatic avenue violence among providers in a public market. A video from Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat went viral showing a heated brawl among shopkeepers of rival chaat stalls who had been competing over customers. In the video, groups, armed with iron rods and sticks, beat each other up on the road.
