Civil defence Mock drills set to start once more from Thursday, in 4 states bordering Pakistan – Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. The government set to conduct national civil defence exercising named “Operation Shield,” on May 29. The mock drills conducts in 22 districts from 5 pm onwards to enhance the national emergency preparedness and response.
It conducts in states bordering Pakistan achieved just weeks after India released Operation Sindoor. It is against the neighbouring country, and the 2 international locations reached a bilateral information to end army action and firing.
Government announce Mock drills again
The government announced national civil defence mock drills after Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians, as part of Op Abhyaas. The Ministry of Home Affairs had directed 244 districts to perform the civil defence activities. It covered blackout exercises, air raid sirens, evacuation protocols, and public training classes.
