Prime Minister Modi visit Tamil Nadu. In the evening, he will inaugurate, dedicate to the nation, and lay the foundation stone for several development projects worth around 5,650 crore rupees in Tiruchirappalli.
PM Modi launch Rs 5,650 Crore Projects
These projects include important areas such as petroleum and natural gas infrastructure, lubricants manufacturing, rural connectivity, highway development, and railway services. The Prime Minister will also speak to the audience during the event.
In an interview with Akashvani News, Om Prakash Narayan, Senior Public Relations Officer of Southern Railway, mentioned that the PM launch five new train services, including two Amrit Bharat Express trains, from Tiruchirappalli via video conferencing.
Launch Five New Trains in Tamil Nadu
The Nagercoil-Charlapalli Amrit Bharat Express will enhance connectivity between southern Tamil Nadu and Telangana while also serving several districts in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. The Podanur (Coimbatore)-Dhanbad Amrit Bharat Express will strengthen rail links between southern India and the mineral and industrial areas of eastern India.
Additionally, three more train services introduced, the Rameswaram-Mangaluru Express, Tirunelveli-Mangaluru Express, and the Mayiladuthurai-Thiruvarur-Karaikkudi. He said that the local community will benefit from these new train services.
