Bedsheet tucked neatly, books stacked on the table, and dreams scribbled on the walls, Sahil Dhaneshra room is just as he left it on the day he died. Sahil Dhaneshra Dreams Die in Crash
Sahil’s room is a sad reminder of a life filled with passion and ambitions that ended too soon. His framed portraits sit on his study table, alongside a stack of books and a laptop. “They want to fly first class. I want to own the plane,” reads a poster on the wall.
Dozens of medals hang on the wall next to the table. He wrote, “Obsession gonna beat talent” on the walls. On the ceiling, he scribbled what seems to be a personal goal: “2025 will be my year,” and “$1,000,000 year.” Another motto reads ‘D’ for ‘dream’ and ‘discipline’.
When a Mother Received the Worst Call of Her Life
On February 3, Inna Maakan hurried out of the house after receiving a phone call about her son’s accident. By the time she reached the scene and took her son to the hospital, he already gone.
“At 1:19 pm, I got a call from the Station House Officer of Dwarka Sector-11, saying they found a bike registered under my number. They said, ‘We have found a dead body,’” Maakan recalled, crying as she described that day.
Maakan asked the caller for a description of the boy. “They said he is slim and fair. I ran to my car and arrived at Lal Bahadur Shastri College in Dwarka. My son was lying on the road. His sports bike was in three pieces, and his jacket torn apart.”
Maakan says she screamed for 10 minutes before the ambulance nearby picked up her son and took him to the hospital. “An ambulance was there, but he not taken right away. After I screamed, they picked Sahil Dhaneshra up by his legs and hands, without any support for his neck, and took him to the hospital,” she added.
