Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Rajya Sabha this afternoon about the ongoing conflict in West Asia and explain India’s position on the matter. Yesterday, he updated the Lok Sabha on the situation and the measures the government is taking to ensure the safety of citizens.

In his speech, Mr.Modi discussed India’s stance regarding the developing situation. This includes its diplomatic efforts, concerns about regional stability, and the effects on global energy and trade routes. He said that India has always supported peace for the benefit of humanity and that dialogue and diplomacy are the only ways to solve this issue.
Focus on smooth supply of petrol, oil, diesel, gas
PM also mentioned that the government ensure that supplies of petrol, diesel, oil, gas, and fertilizers flow smoothly. He informed the House that India has increased its energy import sources from 27 countries to 41 countries over the last 11 years, which has reduced reliance on any single region.
