PM Modi will address the nation at 8 pm today , the main reason for this is that Operation Sindoor was launched in retaliation to the deadly terror attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam. The address comes days after the ceasefire was introduced after 4 days of hostilities from Pakistan following Operation Sindoor.
Operation Sindoor was launched on May 7 in retaliation to the deadly terror attack in J & K Pahalgam on April 22. 26 people were killed in the terror attack — 24 of them Indian tourist, one traveler from Nepal and a local man who was working as a pony handler. All were shot in the blood after the terrorists carried out an initial non-secular profiling. The pony handler was killed after he tried to save the life of a tourist.
PM Modi Brief about Lashkar-e-Taiba
A proxy of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba claimed responsibility for the attack, and research discovered the presence of 3 Pakistani terrorists in the organization of 5 who had opened fire at the tourists.
