Prime Minister Narendra Modi will relaunch the works for the Amaravati Construction, the capital town of Andhra Pradesh. He laid the foundation for numerous projects across the state, all worth ₹57,962 crore on Friday, as per sources.
As per the official schedule released by the government, the PM will land at Vijayawada Airport at Gannavaram at 2.55 pm. He can be received by leader minister N Chandrababu Naidu, deputy leader minister Pawan Kalyan and senior officials.
Modi reach Velagapudi for Amaravati Construction
“From there, Modi will fly all the way down to Velagapudi in Amaravati by helicopter by 3.15 pm. After the ceremonial reception, he will arrive at the general public meeting venue at 3.30 pm and participate in the foundational and inaugural occasions before returning to Gannavaram airport by 4.55 pm to the branch for New Delhi,” it further stated.
In one of the most important single-day infrastructure announcements for the state, the PM will lay the inspiration for and inaugurate a completion of 94 projects worth ₹57,962 crore. These include capital town institutions, national highways, railway developments, and defense-related installations, the timetable said.
Govt Laid Foundation of Development Projects of 49,000 Crores
The CMO statement said at Amaravati Construction, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation for 74 projects worth ₹49,000 crore, which include the construction of the meeting, secretariat, high court room, and judicial residential sectors.
Besides, Modi could simply kick begin the works for 9 central projects, worth ₹5,028 crores, consisting of the Defence Research Development Organisation (DRDO)’s missile testing center at Nagayalanka worth ₹1,459 crores; Unity Mall at Visakhapatnam worth ₹100 crores; Guntakal-Mallappa Gate rail overbridge of worth ₹293 crores and 6 new national highway projects worth ₹3,176 crores.
