PM Modi will visit Bihar today, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for a number of development projects worth over Rs 13,480 crore. The Prime Minister can even take part in a program marking National Panchayati Raj Day and address a gathering in Madhubani, Bihar.
According to a official release, the Prime Minister will reach Madhubani at around 11.45 am. Government will participate in the National Panchayati Raj Day program in Madhubani, Bihar. He also present the National Panchayat Awards, spotting and incentivizing quality-acting Panchayats at the event.
PM Modi inaugurate LPG bottling plant
The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of an LPG bottling plant with a rail unloading facility at Hathua in the Gopalganj District of Bihar worth around Rs 340 crore. This will help streamline the supply chain and improve the efficiency of bulk LPG transportation.
Boosting energy infrastructure in the place, he will lay the stone for initiatives worth over Rs 1,170 crore and also inaugurate multiple projects worth over Rs 5,030 crore in the strength area in Bihar under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme.
Government flag off Amrit Bharat train
To boost rail connectivity throughout the country, the PM Modi will flag off Amrit Bharat train among Saharsa and Mumbai, Namo Bharat Rapid rail among Jaynagar and Patna, and trains among Pipra and Saharsa and Saharsa and Samastipur. He may also inaugurate the Supaul Pipra rail line, Hasanpur Bithan Rail line and two 2-lane Rail over bridges at Chapra and Bagaha. He will devote to the state the Khagaria-Alauli Rail line. These initiatives will enhance connectivity and result in the average socio-economic development of the region.
The Prime Minister will distribute benefits of around Rs 930 crore under Community Investment Fund to over 2 lakh SHGs from Bihar under Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY- NRLM).
