PM Modi International Yoga Day Mega Event in Visakhapatnam

PM Modi is attending the International Yoga Day celebrations in Visakhapatnam. Andhra Pradesh government pulled out all end to ensure that the event is a grand one.  The celebrations referred to world’s largest yoga gatherings, with a aim of putting different information, such as one known by Guinness World Records.

PM Modi Joins Mega Event on Event of International Yoga Day

Saturday’s event starts around 6 am with 26-kms stretch from Ramakrishna Beach in Visakhapatnam to Bhogapuram. There are around 5 lakh people participated to perform yoga concurrently. Officials stated 326 detailed sections will have about 1,000 participants each. Over 3,000 buses deployed to reach yoga members to the event site.

CM N Chandrababu Naidu and PM Modi said the goal is not only to make a mark globally but to inspire a statewide commitment to yoga. To this end, the country plans to consist of yoga in its curriculum from Class 9 and even start a deemed college devoted to the practice.
