The Rs 1,500 crore in assistance will be an early release of the second installment of the State Disaster Response Fund and PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Modi called for a comprehensive approach to help the entire region recover. This plan includes rebuilding homes through PM Awas Yojana, restoring national highways, reconstructing schools, providing relief under PMNRF, and distributing mini kits for livestock.

Under PM Awas Yojana, geo-tagging of damaged houses will take place for accurate damage evaluation and quicker aid delivery. Schools will also report and geo-tag damages to enable prompt help under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, ensuring education continues without interruption. Additionally, there will be efforts to construct recharge structures for water harvesting to collect and store rainwater, improve groundwater levels, and enhance water management.

Government will support in rebuilding homes

PM Modi said that the union government would collaborate closely with the state government during this hard time. They will offer all possible assistance and ensure support for rebuilding infrastructure in the affected areas.

Recognizing the urgent need to support farmers, he mentioned that extra help would be specifically provided to those currently without power connections.
