Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit his parliamentary constituency, Varanasi, on Friday (April 11), wherein he’s going to address a public gathering and inaugurate and lay the foundation for 44 projects really worth ₹3,884 crores. This will mark 50th PM Varanasi Visit in his constituency as PM, stated Kashi area BJP president Dilip Patel.
Among the projects to be unveiled are schemes centered on rural development, consisting of 130 drinking water projects, 100 new Anganwadi centers, 356 libraries, a polytechnic university in Pindra, and a central authority diploma university. The PM can even inaugurate a transit hostel at the Police Lines and police barracks in Ramnagar and 4 rural roads.
44 Projects Set to Launch during PM Varanasi Visit
The PM will address a public meeting at Mehdiganj, inaugurate 19 projects worth ₹1,629.13 crore, and lay the foundation for 25 projects predicted at ₹2,255.05 crore, added Patel. Modi’s event might be held on the Ring Road, outdoor the city limits, to ensure ease of access for the agricultural population. The event will take place in the morning, allowing attendees to return home before the afternoon.
“Six SPs, 8 ASPs, 33 DSPs, together with 4,000 safety employees, which includes police, PAC, and paramilitary forces, can be deployed during PM’s visit. All measures for safety have already been put in place,” commissioner of police, Varanasi, Mohit Agarwal said.
Development Projects Planned on Every Visit
Rooftop deployment are ensured alongside the VIP course and surrounding regions, with surveillance via CCTV and drone cameras. “This occasion is special as this could be his 50th visit as PM. We are making efforts to make it memorable,” Kashi city BJP president Pradeep Agrahari stated.
“During every PM Varanasi Visit, he planned skilled development projects. This time too, he will do the same. In these many visits, he strengthened his bond with the grassroots degree employees and those from different walks of life,” stated Somnath Vishwakarma, Kashi place BJP OBC wing vice-president.
