Cinematographer Pratik Shah, well known for his works on Jubilee, the imminent movie CTRL, and Homebound, is facing serious accusations. People say he behaved badly, including emotional abuse, manipulation, and inappropriate movements. The problems got here up after filmmaker Abhinav Singh published on Instagram, sharing his own experience with Shah and calling him “very manipulative” and “emotionally abusive.”
Pratik Shah deactivate Instagram account over controversy
After the controversy starts on Instagram, Pratik Shah deleted or deactivated his account. Now, if you look for his profile, it suggests a message announcing, “Sorry, this page isn’t available.” So far, he has not replied to the accusations. Meanwhile, many peoples on social media are asking for him to take duty if the claims are real.
Abhinav had first posted a warning on his Instagram, telling his women friends to be cautious around the cinematographer. He also invited them to message him privately if they desired to know more.
Why women abuse cinematographer
Later, he wrote, “The number of women who’ve reached out to me is virtually scary. I sense like I’m having a Margot Robbie second from Bombshell. I will not be silenced. And to people that are using him – f**k you. His name is Pratik Shah. He’s a cinematographer.”
He said, “I’ve spoken out, and now I’m listening to from others, people who’ve felt silenced or sidelined. It’s heartbreaking. The patterns are undeniable. Many have known as him a predator.”
Filmmaker and writer Srishti Riya Jain shared several screenshots on her Instagram stories, pronouncing that Pratik Shah has been making inappropriate actions for the beyond 4 years. She pointed out Reddit posts accusing him of sending undesirable messages to many women. She said, “To each person performing amazed and taken aback now… This man work on one of the ‘most empathetic’ movies of the years — at least, that’s what the Cannes interviews said.”
