As the political battle continues over Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s claims of vote chori in Haryana, the Maharashtra Congress is trying to back up the party MP’s allegations. They shared a post featuring a Punebased lawyer who claims to have voted in two states: Maharashtra and Bihar.
Pune woman spoke on vote chori charge
On Wednesday, Rahul Gandhi presented slides highlighting supposed issues with voter rolls. One notable example featured a former Brazilian model’s photo appearing multiple times on the rolls under different names, such as Seema, Sweety, and Saraswati. This was allegedly done to allow her to vote 22 times.
To support his allegations, Atul Londhe Patil, the chief spokesperson for Maharashtra Congress, claimed that a lawyer and influencer named Urrmi voted in Pune during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in May and also voted in Bihar during the Assembly polls on November 6. He implied that vote-stealing was indeed happening.

Patil’s post featured two separate X posts that Urrmi allegedly shared. The first showed her with an inked right hand after reportedly voting on May 13, 2024, in Pune. The second displayed her inked left hand, urging the people of Bihar to cast their ballots on November 6, 2025. Both posts claimed she “voted for Modi-fied India.”
Patil added a playful comment, saying, “I will vote in Maharashtra in the Lok Sabha. I will vote in Bihar in the Vidhan Sabha. I will do vote chori for Modi.” He included a detective-eyed emoji, hinting at something suspicious.
In a curious turn of events, Urrmi shared her post about the first phase of the Bihar elections at 10:51 am on November 6. Patil then posted his claims of vote-stealing that same evening at 6:50 pm. However, Urrmi clarified an hour before Patil’s post that she never said she voted “today.”
