Finally, the 3 year old girl, victim of UP rape case get justice. A man accused of rape of a 3-year-old girl in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, killed in an encounter with police on Friday. The accused identified as Rapist Deepak Verma by the police after scanning CCTV photos that confirmed him with the child.
The officials stated he was linked with legal cases lodged throughout the city police stations. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Zone) Ashish Srivastava said 5 police teams placed right now after the incident occurs, and set of Rs 1 lakh prize was announced for his arrest.
UP Police arrest Rapist through CCTV Footage
Police, after identifying him via CCTV pictures, secured his scooter’s registration information. Later, following a tip-off, police intercepted Verma near Devi Kheda in Cantonment early Friday. “When asked to give up, he opened firing on the police group. In retaliatory firing, he sustained accidents,” said Srivastava.
DCP Srivastava gave the details of the case. He said, “On the morning of June 5, at 10 a.M., a complaint registered that a 2.5-year-old girl raped… A case was registered, and 5 teams hired to investigate case. As per the CCTV photos of the scooter, the accused arrested and identified as Deepak Verma.
Encounter of Rapist Deepak Verma
The Rapist Deepak Verma significantly injured and rushed to the hospital for treatment, but died because of accidents. The 3-year-old girl brutally raped, and then throw under a metro bridge in a subconscious situation, the police said on Thursday. The incident occurred in the Alambagh area of Lucknow. The girl live close to the Chandanagar Metro Station along with her parents. After the parents couldn’t found the girl in the morning, they start finding her. After some time, the girl found in an unconscious condition under the metro bridge.
