70 Tolas Gold Recovered from Ahmedabad Plane Crash site
Patel’s team recovered 70 tolas of gold jewellery, Rs 80,000 in cash, and various passports. They also found copies of the Bhagavad Gita from the site. Every item was hand over to the government. “We saw gold in packing boxes, bangles and other ornaments scattered in the debris,” he said.
Authorities allowed them to assist on the site online until 9:00 pm that night. Minister of State state that assets will be hand over to victims’ households after verification of documentation.
Patel, who earlier volunteered during 2008 Ahmedabad serial blasts, said the aftermath of this crash was some thing he had ever seen. “The destruction, the flames, the loss wrought by the crash is something I will not neglect,” he said.
Use sarees and bedsheets to carry injured passengers to hospital
Upon arrival, they face terrible scene with thick smoke, blazing flames and the cries of the injured. “For the first 15 to 20 minutes, we need to go near.
