Leave T20 World Cup to support family
After hearing about his father’s declining health, Rinku took instant leave from the squad to be with his family. He had briefly returned to the team on February 26, hoping for stabilization, but the sudden decline forced him to travel back home to Greater Noida before the news of his father’s passing was confirmed on Friday morning.
Rinku Singh’s journey to international fame is closely linked to his father’s hard work. Khachandra Singh notably worked as an LPG cylinder delivery man in Aligarh for many years to support his family’s dreams. Rinku has often credited his father’s tireless efforts as the main driving force behind his cricket success. Fans and the cricketing community have been sharing images of Rinku with his parents and offering their condolences.
