Security forces have demolished the house of Umar Mohammed, also known as Umar un-Nabi. He was responsible for the car blast near Delhi’s famous Red Fort. This morning, security forces supervised the demolition of the doctor’s home in Pulwama, located in south Kashmir.

The investigation into the explosion on Monday evening showed that it killed 13 people and injured over 20. Umar, a doctor at Al-Falah University in Faridabad, had been driving the Hyundai i20 that exploded near a traffic signal on Netaji Subhash Marg close to the Red Fort. Authorities confirmed his presence in the car by matching DNA samples from the blast site with those collected from his mother.
Demolishing his house in Kashmir aims to send a message to individuals who support terrorist activities in India. Previously, demolitions were carried out against those involved in the Pahalgam terror attack plot.
2,900 kg Explosive found
The Delhi blast followed the recovery of about 2,900 kg of bomb-making material and advanced weapons like rifles. This material was seized from Muzammil and Shaheen Saeed, doctors and associates of Umar Mohammed. Both men are now in custody and are being questioned about the conspiracy to gather explosives in Faridabad. Investigators believe that a group connected to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat Ul-Hind had planned a larger attack, and that the Delhi blast occurred after Umar panicked following the arrest of his associates.
The explosives recovery in Faridabad and the deadly explosion in Delhi have shown that terrorist organizations like Jaish-e-Mohammed are now recruiting highly educated professionals, including doctors, to carry out terrorist acts.
