A patient was assaulted by a doctor at Shimla Hospital on Sunday. This led to protests by the patient’s relatives outside the hospital. The relatives claim a video of the alleged assault was recorded and has gone viral on social media
Relatives accused Shimla Hospital Doctor for Assault
The patient, from a village in the Kupvi area of Shimla district, stated that he visited the hospital due to breathing issues. “When the doctor arrived, he talked to me rudely. When I asked him to speak respectfully, he started hitting me,” the patient said.
After the incident, the patient’s relatives shouted slogans outside the hospital, calling for the suspension of the accused doctor. The hospital has not yet released any official statement about the incident.
