Two people died and over 20 others injured when a bus lost control and overturned near Jhandewalan Temple in central Karol Bagh in Delhi early Wednesday morning.
Police reported that the bus was traveling from Jaipur, Rajasthan, with about 25 passengers on board. Officials received notice of the accident at 1:08 am, prompting multiple teams to rush to the scene for rescue efforts. They pulled the injured passengers from the overturned bus and transported them to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.

Another bus accident weeks ago
This incident occurred weeks after a private double-decker bus collided with a moving van on the Yamuna Expressway in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras, killing at least six people. The bus was en route from Delhi to Gorakhpur, and the accident happened while the driver was trying to overtake the Eeco van.
