20 year old UP women flees home, leave snake skin on bed
The incident occurred in Singanpur village, where the 20-year-old woman last seen on Sunday night. Family members reported that she went to bed as usual, but by morning, she was gone. When her mother entered the room to wake her, the bed was empty. Her clothes and jewelry left behind neatly, and a long piece of what looked like shed snake skin found nearby.
Spark nagin fear in village
The discovery sparked whispers of supernatural explanations among locals. Some villagers show the UP women may become “ichcha dhar inaagin,” a mythical shape-shifting serpent. These claims become stronger after a snake skin was seen in the floor of the room. The family acknowledged that snakes spotted in the area before.
Amid rising speculation, the woman’s family asked for help. They expressed their distress and pleaded for her safe return.
UP Police teams arrived in the village soon after receiving the complaint. Ajitmal Circle Officer Manoj Gangwar said that a case filed under Section 87 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita based on the father’s statement. Multiple teams assembled to find the missing woman, and search operations are ongoing.
