On Monday, PM Narendra Modi inaugurates the mega ‘Invest Madhya Pradesh GIS-2025 at Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya in Bhopal. He said that the state gives huge opportunities for excellent returns for investors. MP is one of the leading states in India’s electric vehicles revolution, he said. He also states that India will continue to become the world’s fastest-growing economy in the coming years.
PM Modi inaugurates GIS-2025 for double development
PM Modi said that the speed of development in the state will be doubled after the ‘double engine’ government in the state. Both state and centre has BJP-led government. “With a strong talent pool and industries, MP become the right business destination, he said.”
He also apologized at the summit for arriving late. “The delay occurs because when I reached yesterday, one thing came to my mind that today there is an exam for the class 10th and 12th students and the timing of the exam was clashing with my time of leaving at Raj Bhavan. There was a chance of roads closed that cause problems for students to reach to their centres. Because of this, I delayed my leaving by 15-20 minutes. Once again apologise to you all, he said.”
Adani to Invest ₹1.10 lakh crore in MP industrial projects
Modi also launched the industrial policies of MP with GIS-2025. The PM reveal that the more than 18 new policies of the state are connected to industries like food, export, MSME, start-ups, GCC, semiconductor, drone, tourism, and film production
Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani confirmed that they will invest more than ₹1.10 lakh crore in Madhya Pradesh for pumped storage, mining cement, smart meters, etc. He said that their discussion was underway with the state government or additional ₹1 lakh crore investment.
Prominent industrialists also take part include Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla, Sun Pharmaceuticals Limited Global Head of Operations Rahul Awasthi, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani, Godrej Industries Limited Chairman and MD Nadir Godrej, Rasna Private Limited Group Chairman Piruz Khambatta, Reliance Industries Limited Chairman Mukesh Ambani, MD Baba N Kalyani, Bharat Forge Limited Chairman and ACC Limited CEO Neeraj Akhouri.
