FIR Filed against Bhojpuri singer Neha Singh Rathore over allegations on Modi government for J&K attack

Bhojpuri singer Neha Singh Rathore was booked on sedition charges for an alleged “objectionable” post on social media wherein she attacked the Modi authorities, claiming that the latest Pahalgam terrorist attack, which claimed 26 civilian lives, was an intelligence and security failure on the part of the ruling dispensation.

The case was filed against Neha in Lucknow’s Hazratganj after an X handle, run through a Pakistani newshounds’ company, reposted her video in which she claimed that PM Modi will now be in search of votes in Bihar in the matter of the Pahalgam attack, just like, she claimed, after the 2019 Pulwama terror attack wherein 40 CRPF personnel have been killed. The singer has formerly determined herself in the center of controversies for comparable social media posts.

Why FIR Registered against Neha Singh Rathore

According to the FIR registered against Neha, her X post adversely impacts national integrity to incite people to commit crimes in opposition to every other on the idea of religion and caste. She has shared videos on social media, elevating questions about innocent people killed in the Pahalgam attack, the FIR stated.

The FIR also examine that Neha Singh Rathore’s “anti-national” statements are going viral in Pakistan, where she is being praised for her attacks at the Modi government. “All those anti-national statements of Neha Singh Rathore are getting used towards India in the Pakistani media,” it introduced.
