BJP criticised Namaz at Bengaluru airport, Hit congress
According to Prasad, the incident took place at Terminal 2 of Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru. “Did these individuals get permission to offer namaz in a high-security airport zone? Why does the government object when the RSS conducts Patha Sanchalana with permission, yet ignores such activities in a restricted public area?” he tweeted on Sunday night.
“Does this not raise serious security concerns in such a sensitive zone?” he asked, sharing a photo and a video of the incident.
Questioned on security and police officers
BJP criticised Namaz and show concerns about how this act allowed in a high-security area. “I want to ask the CM and IT Minister if they approve of this act. Did these individuals get prior approval to offer namaz in a high-security airport zone? Does this not pose a serious security concern? Why the double standards? Is this even acceptable?” he questioned.
“There is heavy security at Terminal 2 of the Bengaluru airport. Yet, the police or anyone else did not try to stop it. This shows the double standards of the Congress government. It is clear appeasement to one part of the community.”
This development occurred a day after CM Siddaramaiah stated that his government’s directive requiring private organisations to get permission for events in public spaces was not specifically aimed at the RSS. “We didn’t mention the RSS in the order.
