Exit Poll Revealed: NDA To Win, But Tejashwi Yadav Most Popular Chief Minister Face

His party may not come to power in Bihar, but RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav is the most popular choice for chief minister in the state, according to an exit poll. People’s Pulse has predicted that the NDA will win 133-159 seats, the Mahagathbandhan 75-101, and Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Party 0-5, suggesting that the ruling alliance will secure a comfortable majority.

Yadav received 32% of the votes, while JDU chief and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar followed closely with 30%. This shows that reports of his declining health and mental sharpness have not significantly affected his popularity. Union Minister Chirag Paswan of the LJP (Ram Vilas) and Prashant Kishor of the Jan Suraaj Party both tied for third place with 8%.

Paswan has been in politics for some time, while Kishor recently transitioned from being a poll strategist. His relatively high percentage should encourage him and his party, especially since most exit polls predict they will gain only between zero and five seats.

BJP got 2nd highest votes

The next highest votes went to BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary with 6%, while Rajesh Kumar, president of the Congress in Bihar, managed just 2%. Others accounted for the remaining 14%.

The poll suggests that even though the RJD-Congress-led Mahagathbandhan is unlikely to win in Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav personal appeal remains strong. Voters see him as a viable candidate to lead the state government. This is promising for him, particularly since he is only 36 and likely has a long political career ahead.
