Parliament Budget session resume today on 17 March, Discuss Legislative Matters

The Parliament Budget Session will resume on Monday, with both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha set to satisfy. Both Houses have been adjourned closing Wednesday until March 17 as a consequence of Holi.

According to reports, the Lok Sabha will resume at 11.00 am to absorb key legislative topics, together with the presentation and discussion of multiple reviews from status committees.

BJP MP Radha Mohan Singh and SP MP Virendra Singh will send reports of the Standing Committee on Defence. Congress leader and MP Shashi Tharoor and BJP MP Arun Govil will send the 5th report of the Standing Committee on External Affairs at the ‘Demands for Grants of the Ministry of External Affairs for 2025-26.’

Parliament Budget Session continue till 4 april

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will take the action for the election of  members to the court room of the University of Delhi. The session may also take dialogue and voting at the Demands for Grants below the Ministry of Railways for 2025-26. The 2nd part of the budget session of Parliament began on March 10 and will continue till April 4.

On March 12, the Upper House of the Parliament was in a big uproar over the LoP (Rajya Sabha) and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s ‘thokenge’ statement.

Kharge spoke about Education Minister

In Parliament Budget Session , Kharge’s statements got here even as he was speak about Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan after his statement against the Tamil Nadu government about the difficulty of the three-language coverage. “…I request you (Deputy Chairman) with folded hands to permit me (to talk)…’aapko kya kya thokna hai thik se thokenge, sarkar ko bhi thokenge’….”, he said in the Upper House of the Parliament on Tuesday.

BJP strongly act on Kharge’s statements, pointing out that it became disrespectful to the chair. Union Health Minister JP Nadda stated that the Congress president should apologise for his announcement and take his words from the pictures of the Parliament court cases.
