It is perceived that the scandal-claiming Tejashwi Yadav steals items from the government residence, that too as a part of the political rivalry between the BJP and RJD.
Tejashwi Yadav accused of stealing from official government residence, Bihar government prepares the list of damaged items
Tejashwi Yadav vacated the residence just two days before these allegations surfaced. The residence is now occupied by BJP State President and Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary. With these allegations, the Bihar government is in a state of preparing an official list of the missing items so that it adds fuel to the controversy. These allegations surrounding the fact that Tejashwi Yadav has been stealing items from the government residence have been making waves in the media and added more tension between the BJP and RJD in Bihar.
RJD spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari himself has put a lid on the allegations, but the scandal refuses to die down. As the politicking in the state gathers intensity this controversy might be the turning point to further hone the political divide. Thus far, there has been no formal investigation launched and the question remains whether this allegation is going to puncture Tejashwi Yadav’s prospects in the ensuing months.
