On the night before the Bihar Assembly election results, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said that the Mahagathbandhan is poised to secure a clear majority. He dismissed exit polls that suggest the NDA will return to power. Even after vote counting began on Friday, Tejashwi Yadav declared, “We are going to form a government for employment in the state.”
Tejashwi Yadav warning ahead of bihar elections
At a press conference in Patna on Thursday, Yadav warned government officials against any wrongdoing during the counting process.
“We are completely confident that we are forming the government with a clear majority. We will win the election comfortably tomorrow. Our workers are at all the counting stations and are alert,” he said.
Yadav recalled the 2020 assembly elections in Bihar and claimed that the Mahagathbandhan was on track to form the government if not for manipulations by compliant officials. He called on the Election Commission of India to ensure fairness in the vote counting.
Sparks anger in public , if any mistakes happers
“If the administration repeats their 2020 mistake or if anyone goes too far, does something unconstitutional and unfair, and if any official acts on someone’s orders, then the public will take care of it,” Yadav warned. During his speech, the RJD leader accused the BJP of creating a narrative of victory through sympathetic media and certain officials.
“We noticed before that some BJP leaders, along with compliant media and officials, were spreading propaganda suggesting that the BJP was winning the election. The BJP is anxious and restless, knowing that this government is about to fall,” he said.
Tejashwi Yadav also said he received information about attempts to manipulate the counting process on November 14.
