The draft voters’ list for the SIR process in West Bengal has published today. A total of 7 crore 66 lakhs 37 thousand 529 voters were included in the first phase of SIR. Among these, 7 crore 8 lakhs 16 thousand 616 voters have had their Enumeration Forms digitized. This means 92.4 % of the enumeration forms are now digital.
58 lakhs removed from SIR List by West Bengal
During the SIR process, more than 58 lakhs names removed due to being absent, shifted, deceased, or duplicates. Additionally, 31 lakhs 38 thousand 374 voters have not been matched with the 2002 voters’ list. They will be summoned for a hearing, which started today and will continue until 7th February 2026.
Individuals whose names do not appear in the draft voters’ rolls can fill out Form 6 and submit it to the relevant BLO or the ECINET app. The draft list is available on the official website, the ECINET app, and the websites of the Election Commission and the CEO of West Bengal. It can also be accessed at BDO, SDO, DM, local government offices, and district websites. The final electoral rolls will be published in West Bengal on 14th February 2026.
