Mumbai Police arrest 24-year-old woman over ‘death threat’ warning that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be killed like Baba Siddique if he fails to quit in 10 days. This is an alarming threat given in the form of a WhatsApp message to the control room of Mumbai Traffic Police, for which immediate action has been taken by police.
The accused was found to be Fatima Khan by connecting the message with the cellphone number in the following inquiry. The police told that Khan has a very extensive qualification, that is BSc in Information Technology and living in Thane city, with her family members. Sources said she too, had some history of mental problem. Inhabitants from her town even said her family did the timber business there.
The “Yogi Adityanath death threat” is just the latest in a number of threatening messages that have been received by the Mumbai police over the last couple of weeks. Only a couple of weeks ago, threats were made to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan demanding ransom and then death threats. These sent alarm bells ringing in the city, especially after some shots were fired outside Salman Khan’s residence a couple of months ago. Police were successful in arresting some of the perpetrators, who included a vegetable vendor from Jamshedpur and a tattoo artist from Noida.
Why Yogi Adityanath death threat is linked with Baba Siddique murder?
The new “Yogi Adityanath death threat” has connections made with a murder earlier which is that of Baba Siddique. The former politician Zeeshan Siddique has become an MLA today; he was shot dead in front of his office, and the murder was declared by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, bringing forth major concerns over death threats faced by public figures. It is also blamed to be raised in the security concerns claimed by Salman Khan due to the allegations faced in blackbuck poaching cases.
In the wake of such incidents, security measures were strengthened especially on public figures who made it to the list of threats. The police today are working towards understanding the motive and networks behind all such “yogi adityanath death threat” cases in order to reduce any further escalations of violence and their protection of prominent figures in Maharashtra and beyond.
